Welcome to my website. I am a freelance business journalist and creator of content for print, web and screen. This includes written, filmed and produced content, from blogs and news releases to videos, animations, scripts, TV pitches and business tenders.
I cut my teeth on the business and City desks of national and regional newspapers – and love delving into the detail of vast universes like science, technology and world economics.
I’m uniquely skilled at translating complex subjects into plain, accessible English and regularly write about topics including quantum physics, artificial intelligence, banking, health and education.

I’ve made short films for digital channel, BBC The Social, produced more than 100 videos for UK film and events company Speakeasy and worked in TV development.
My experience is mostly in 2D animation. This involves working with animators and clients, writing scripts and developing storyboards. I’ve also written lots of winning tenders.
I’m a journalist by background and excel at turning complex topics into plain English. Specialisms include technology, business, health and climate.
In PR and marketing, I’ve advised clients at a senior level in in sectors including national and local government, banking and environmental regulation.
